I can't boot my comp. in SafeMode! I can get into windows just fine, its just safemode that i cant get into. Everytime I try to it gets to the point where it shows all the files loading, and then my computer restarts, EVERYTIME! This has been happening for a long time now, and now I really need to run the tcp patch again in Safemode. So if anyone could help or give me any suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
I generated a startuplist log with hijackthis, just for extra info.

Do you use the F5 key or the F8 key to get into 'Safe Mode'?

F8, and some1 on another forum told me to get into msconfig and chose selective startup and then restart and id be in safemode, so i did that, but when i click on the tcpip.sys patch(EvID4226Patch.exe), an error message pops up saying "windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item." If I did all this on the admin account, would the patch still effect my account?

This patch can usually be applied without need to go into 'Safe Mode' but you should be in 'admin account' to do it as you are making changes to the root of registry files.
Some antispyware/malware or antivirus programs classifies this patch as a trojan, and may prevent it running.
Another way to make the changes is to download and use BitComet ver 0.82. Command is in 'Preference' and 'TCP/IP limit'.
Incidentally, I get into Windows 'Safe Mode' through F5 key.

Turn off the comp for a few mins and then reboot to normal mode.

Try reboot and press F5 and choose another mode, eg. "Safe Mode with networking'.

That means you have been locked out. You will need to bring your comp to a comp tech to get it unlocked.

Probably u have a MFT boot windows issue, or bad disk. If the "last known good cobfiguration" does not work, access yor comp in prompt command to save yor docs and procceed with a format. A second thought is to put yor hard disk as a slave to another machine and do a chkdisk, that will probably work for u
