Zoom x3 ip address blocking.

Is there anyway I can block a ip address completely from accepting comms from one ip address?

The reason I ask is sygate pretty often uses active response on one ip, the same ip keeps recurring.

As sygate is already stopping the threat is there any benefit of doing it from the router itself?

Hi,

By using the router to block the offending IP should make for faster processing (albeit marginal) in the routers setup there shuld be some sort of filtering option/rules where you can specify an IP , apply a rule to it that says its to be blocked and when the router receives it, blocks it, thus saving sygate from having to scrutinize the package endless times over, hope this helps.
