Windows 98 SE Problem

Computer won't restart or shut down from the shut down window, it hangs on the computer shutting down screen.

do you have an early version of Norton Anti virus installed???? cause sometimes thats what causes it, and if so re-install it

you should download the shutdown supplementary update on the microsoft website, oh what the heck, download them all

Yeah, this is a chronic Win98 issue. Get the shut down fix.
