wats the best router for better gaming experience?

i tend to play live alot and curoius to kno wat would be a great router ot have for better gaming experience, i have comcast high speed cable with a motoralla modem

It's hard to top a home built linux distro router..like IPCop, Endian, m0n0wall, etc.

Take a middle aged PC like a midrange P3, 256 or more of RAM..a pair of NIC..and you're good to go. Actually very easy to build these pre-made distros.

Else..for a store bought router....DLink has a well liked 4300 series, and Linksys recently came out with their high performance gaming router...the wrt330n.

Ic yea i have a pentuim 4 dell, the computer works perfect! and when i finally got live setup i jsu bought anytime of router at the time i was too excited i guess lol, but im using a TW100-S4W1CA Broadband Routor i hope its not the problem with my lagging on halo 2. And for my modem its a motorola sb5120 surfboard cable modem.
