I've used most download managers... Go!Zilla, FlashGet, JetCar, GetRight, and Download Accelerator Plus. So far, the manager that has throughput the fastest performance for me is Download Accelerator Plus (DAP). Those other download managers didn't give me much performance in faster downloading... Unless there's like a little secret (switch) or something. DAP is weird though.. Only going fast when downloading big files.. I use microsoft's download manager when it comes to small files (5MB-10MB). I have a DSL modem, 500kbps and up.. Anyway, I just want to know if there are any better download managers out there..

I use DAP and it rules
Hi EvilAjax nice to meet you
i use Download accelerator, no problems, works great, has all the whistles and bells.time delayed downloading etc.
someone asked the same question not long ago in the general forum. you might want to do a search there.
it was Download Accelerator by a wide margin, i believe.

okay thanks :) I'll be sure to check that out, no problem
Am running IE 6. DAP doesnt seem able to integrate into the Browser. What gives?
capdjq
I don't know, but the program DOES rule. If you're having problems with it automatically popping up (and you have your settings correct <browser integration, file types> ), then you can always copy your link to the clipboard, then paste the URL into DAP.
