looking for a good stable wireless router or AP for a small business roughly 5 wireless connections currently (but more and more to be added)
currently have a Linksys RV-082 router and a SRW224G4 switch and a d-link DWL-2100AP that seems to be flaking out... get a connection drop a connection, lather, rinse, repeat....
so i guess it's time to upgrade to something a little more stout...
p.s. what's up cat... long time no chat... must mean my networks running smoooooooooooth ;)
Hi,
Try ZyXEL G-2000Plus ADSL router with built-in 54Mbps wireless Access point and 4 port Ethernet switch ...... it's very stable and powerfull: www.networkingland.com/wifi_vendors.htm
or you can switch to new MIMO wireless stuff which can go longer ditance with no lags or dead spots: www.networkingland.com/wifi_special.htm
Good luck!

Hey..yeah, long time no chat. I see you pop on and offline now and then.
Hey..your RV082 updated firmware wise? Major platform improvement since late summer.
I've been doing setups with the WAP4400n. They support PoE...so you can snag a little 8 port Linksys PoE switch, or use PoE injectors to power them (about 45 bucks a pop). That way you can place them around your plant at desired locations...without worrying about how to power them up.
