Wireless Router as a WNIC?

I have a wireless router that I'm no longer using and am in need of a wireless network card. Is it possible to connect the old wireless router to the PC via an ethernet port and then connect to the wireless network?

Or is it possible to wireless connect to the network with the 2nd router and use an ethernet port to feed the computer?
