If 12 people answered you'd probably get 10 different answers. IMO, MIMO routers are a good choice, my experience in installing them has been great. I tend to favor Linksys as a brand for home consumer setups. Peoples experience with wireless varies..there are so many variables, the home environment, how they set it up, firmware version, the "health" of their PCs, etc. Very difficult to give a concrete answer when it comes to wireless.

Well i got 2 pcs and they are both brand new and healthy. I am paying for 15Mb download and 2Mb upload. I am getting 14700 download and 1800 on upload on wireless tests from speakeasy.net. The only thing i used was the TCP Optimizer program from this site.
Is my router a MIMO router?

Thanks for your responses:rockin: .
My house looks like this, and my router sits upstairs on the left side of the house. Where is a good spot to put it at? Does it really matter?
