Hi, does anyone know what this error means?
Windows Protection Error. You must restart your computer.
I get this error message everytime I reboot my computer. So I have to do a hard reboot. I just formatted my hard drive and re-installed windows 98.
Thanks

Hey GLC1,
Not sure what the problem was. Just reformatted my hard drive and re-installed windows 98. Upon restarting my computer I would get that message 'Windows Protection Error'. Microsoft has a host of reasons why this might occur. I couldn't narrow it down. The only way I could clear it up was to debug the harddrive with the help of a Dell Tech. Then run FDISK. It might be related to all the crap I have hooked to my USB Hub and stuff while installing windows 98.
