Backing up Zip drive or A drive problem

First time dealing with a zip drive

the problem is when doing a back up and it needs two disks I put the First one in and everything is ok when it prompts me to put disk two in it screws up Please insert disk 2
I have tried everything I can think of any suggestions now have a .Bat problem to win 98 is the os

What exactly does it screw up? Does it screw up the second disk? Does it even get to the screen where it asks you for the second disk?

YES IT DOES GET TO THE SCREEN BUT IT JUST KEEPS SAYING TO INSERT DISK 1AS IF IT HAS NOT DONE THE BACK UP AT ALL (caps off)sorry prey

The iomega zip backup software has always been unreliable.

What are you backing up that you need 2 disks anyway?

I usually just rt click & drag/copyhere the files to the zip shortcut or zip window. Fail safe method.
