Connecting 2 Cable modems to one Computer

hey there, just a simple question, I have two cable modems, and Im paying for the service on both. Also I have a computer with 2 ethernet cards. So my question is that if i just can connect both cable modems to the computer to have faster internet connection, or do I need some kind of software?

Simple answer: no

You could buy a dual wan router that would use both but it would load balance the connections, you wouldnt get double the speed.
