Hi everyone
i have Planet brand outdoor AP which is WAP 6000 and one omni antenna that established to the top of the building at outside(30 meters up approx). and i went to home away from antenna by 1.5 km. In order to catch the signal of OutDoor AP, i set up an indoor AP with repeater features at same channel number of OD AP. I located this indoor AP to the top of the building which is 5th floor (i made all connections and ip configuration with my laptop) . and then i started doing site survey by using indoor AP's web based software but i couldn't see the outdoor AP's signal at that menu. so i couldn't connect to root OD AP's wireless network... i dont know why? because this OD AP's range is above the 10 km. till 30km is written at ideal circumstances in its menu. Does this problem may depends on its miliwatt output power???may it be changed or intervined???or other related subjects that i dont remind right now and couldnt mention.
i m waiting from u alll possible solutions and reasons for being investigated...
Thanks and cheers...
