After trying to figure out what was causing electrical interfiance to my modem I said huh maybe its this dumb lamp, so what do I do I move it 1-2 feet away and do a couple tracerts to yahoo.com
And what you know something basic as a lamp was or I don’t know but I did like 30 tracerts to confirm this and IT IS CONFIRMED!!
Kind of wired though a simple lamp!

Hahaha...I think a filament lamp with 11b watts will melt the comp user and his equipment before ever affecting the modem. Most likely he is using a normal florescent lamp with a defective starter. This kind of light source is known to affect WiFi as well.

I got one of those.. never caused me any issues cept the neighbors hate it.

Hmm probly right about the starter, but im sure its the lamp that couses interfiance. (unless possibly could be my circut breaker, its right next to my modem)
