Sorry for asking this dumb question:
I have a splitter and my end of the cable so I could get cable in my room and cable internet, and I was wondering if I use an adapter thing to hook up my x-box to my tv would that affect my cable by some sort?? :confused:

BTW: I have cable internet at 5.mps with charter and have my cable cord splited with a spillter.

Hard to understand you, you want to split the calbe again?

Anytime you add an adapter or anythign you can possibly affect things.

You should use a router to connect more than 1 terminal to your cable modem, and get extra security from a hardware firewall.
