Which cicso to choose

ISP upgrading line to 20MB fiber in our area, currently have T-1 to my 1600series routers. I will be switching to the fiber and also want to utilize VPN services. Which csico router should I upgrade to? 1800 series, 2600, 2800? I'm thinking 2600 or 2800...I don;t think the 1800 could handle it...thoughts?

Well, it depends.

How is your ISP going to be delivering the service to your router? (ie FastEthernet, fiber, or some other specification?) This will let you know what type and number of interfaces will be needed.

How many users and with what type of bandwidth requirments must this support? Do you NEED to do VPN from the router? Do you even really need the router, or could a PIX take its place (better VPN and security options)? Or could it be added as an addition?

The 2600 series is starting to reach EOL. So just for that reason alone I would go 2800 or better.
