hi all,
I have a 2.2mbps connection and am trying to install half life - episode one. I first installed it a few weeks ago but was put off when it wouldn't load my check points! I uninstalled it along with steam. I bought a gaming pad yesterday so I thought I would give it another go. I cannot remember being this SLOW the first time I installed. It is downloading anywhere between 30kps to 200kps, and its so laborious!!! Can anyone tell me why so slow and if there is any way of speeding it up?
