I dont know if this is related, but since I downloaded and started using TCP Optimize sometimes Internet Explorer and Firefox both look like this:

It works now, but occaisonally it will look like that. Also, sometimes pages do not load, they are just all white. And I have to reset my router and/or cable modem in order for the internet to work.

I had no problems with my connection before I started using TCP Optimize.

Which country are you in? What speed did you pay your ISP to give you? Do the TCP Analyzer test and post your results.

TCP options string = 020405ac0103030201010402
MTU = 1492
MTU is optimized for PPoE DSL broadband. If not, consider raising MTU to 1500 for optimal throughput.
MSS = 1452
MSS is optimized for PPPoE DSL broadband. If not, consider raising your MTU value.
Default TCP Receive Window (RWIN) = 261360
RWIN Scaling (RFC1323) = 2 bits (scale factor of 4)
Unscaled TCP Receive Window = 65340

RWIN is a multiple of MSS
Other RWIN values that might work well with your current MTU/MSS:
511104 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 8)
255552 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 4)
127776 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 2)
63888 (MSS x 44)
bandwidth * delay product (Note this is not a speed test):

Your TCP Window limits you to: 10454.4 kbps (1306.8 KBytes/s) @ 200ms
Your TCP Window limits you to: 4181.76 kbps (522.72 KBytes/s) @ 500ms
MTU Discovery (RFC1191) = ON
Time to live left = 54 hops
TTL value is ok.
Timestamps (RFC1323) = OFF
Selective Acknowledgements (RFC2018) = ON
IP type of service field (RFC1349) = 00100000 (32)
Precedence (priority) = 001 (priority)
Delay = 0 (normal delay)
Throughput = 0 (normal throughput)
Reliability = 0 (normal reliability)
Cost = 0 (normal cost)
Check bit = 0 (correct, 8th checking bit must be zero)

DiffServ (RFC 2474) = CS1 001000 (8) - class 1 (RFC 2474). Similar forwarding behavior to the ToS Precedence field.

Is this what you wanted me to post?

I dont know what speed my connection is supposed to be, all I know is my ISP is Comcast Cable.

And im in the U.S.

Use the TCP Optimizer with these custom settings for optimizing:

General Settings tab:
Custom settings - check
Modify All Network Adapters - check
network adapter selection - your NIC
MTU - 1492
TTL - 64
TCP Receive Window - 127776
MTU Discovery - Yes
Black Hole Detect - No
Selective Acks - Yes
Max Duplicate ACKs - 2
TCP 1323 Options:
Windows Scaling - check
Timestamps - uncheck
Advanced Settings tab:
Max Connections per Server - 8
Max Connections per 1.0 Server - 10
LocalPriority - 5
Host Priority - 6
DNSPriority - 7
NetbtPriority - 8
Lan Browsing speedup - optimized
QoS: NonBestEffortLimit - 0
ToS: DisableUserTOSSetting - 0
ToS: DefaultTOSValue - 80
MaxNegativeCacheTtl - 0
NetFailureCacheTime - 0
NegativeSOACache Time - 0
LAN Request Buffer Size - 32768
Then select "Apply Changes" and reboot to take effect

I made the changes and so far so good. But like I said, the problem is only occaisionally. I'll reply back if it persists.

Let us know if you have any further problems. How is your speed after this last change?

It seems to be running fine now.

I've tested the speed a couple times and its around a constant 6.34mbps down and 369kbs up.

Before using TCP Optimize I think it was around 4-5mps down.

Ok after giving it a while, I still am having problems with Firefox and IE. I dont get a screen like the one I posted above, but some pages do not load or take forever to load.
