I want to set up a ftp site how do i do it?

use cuteFTP or another ftp program. Run that program and tell everyone waht your IP # is. YOu'll have to configure your server, but that should be it.

You need an FTP Server program like FTP Serv-U or G6 FTP Server. CuteFTP is only an FTP browser, not a server :)

I personally like Vermillion FTP Daemon as a FTP Server.

yeah i would go with serv-u for windows , its easy to configure, here's the site where you can download it

or if you have win2k you could use its built in ftp server under IIS...a little more complicated to use but its always running in the background in win2k

i would recommend G-6 FTP i used to run it off of my 233 mhz with 96 in ram and it ran fine i tryed the other ftp's but they didnt work =\
