It's more of a tech demo for some of the new physics software and such (just like the Indy 4 game demo), but I'm very interested in checking out the new Dark Forces/Jedi Knight/whatever game if it plays like that. :)

While I agree with you, LA has been farming most of their games out lately. Some yield decent results (Pandemic with SWBF, Petroglyph for Empire At War), while others don't (The Collective for ROTS or SOE for Galaxies).

I don't think LA has done a Star Wars game internally since Republic Commando.

JK2 is my favorite, by far. Followed by JK3. Throw one a couple of the older ones too, like Rebel Assault.

Bioware did good on KOTOR, I haven't played KOTOR2 yet...any good?

So I'm guessing Republic Commando sucked?

SWG = lame. I tried it again recently and I hated it even more then when it first came out. I shoulda listened to Amro's advice and saved $15.

KOTOR2 is decent...but there are probably a million and one forum threads on problems people have with the ending. I kinda liked it, but it's not nearly as good as the first one.

I wouldn't say Republic Commando sucked...I just didn't think it was anything special. It's basically Rainbow Six + Clone Troopers. But as a shooter, it has miles to go to be in the league that games like Jedi Knight are in.

Anything related to a Tom Clancy game is a no-go for me. I hate that stuff.

Clancy games kick ass, especially multiplayer.

Back on to LA, i would KILL for an updated TIE FIGHTER game! imagine how amazing that could be with todays computers. THose games were nothing short of AMAZING when they first came out.....

Imagine online ambushes on rebel space stations with squadrons of fighters/bombers/advance and someone maning the guns on a star destroyer! especailly if they did something like Battlefield in space (yes i have Battlefront 2, still not the same!)
