Alright, this is how it works, I am trying to connect to my xbox live through my wireless laptop, I live on college campus so the only internet connection I have is wireless. I'm too poor to buy a crossover cable(college kid who needs to pay rent and buy tires), much less a wireless adapter, but I have two strait through cables and a linksys 4 port router. So, I connected my xbox, to my router, and then my wireless laptop to the internet connection feed on the router. I bridged the wireless connection with the lan connection. I had to force compatibility mode to get the laptop to connect to the wireless network. my ip settings configure properly in the xbox network troublshooter but I still can't connect to the dns to get on xbox live. Can anyone please help me?
