Everything seems fine with my settings until our DSL provider have some problems with their database. Now everytime i open my modem connected to LinkSys router i am always having trouble connecting. then tech support from our DSL provider tells me that i should configure the properties of my network configurations which is the TCP/IP. He gives me some address to be put on my prefered DNS and alternate DNS.

It seems fine coz it connects me fast but everytime i restart my modem, still connecting seems to be a trouble for me. So i set back my prefered and alternate DNS to obtain ip then put again the prefered and alternate DNS.

Is there any way i can put my prefered and alternate DNS on my Linksys Router? Pls Help..

It should be under the dhcp server otpions in your router every model might have it setup differently.

In the router should be a page that has dns1 dns2 then type them in there.
