Don't want to connect to subnet 0

I have connected the Belkin pre-n subnet to the modem, and it works just fine, but only when it's connected to 192.168.2.1, when i try to change it to 192.168.0.9 it won't work at all:irate: ... i really wnat it to be at 0.9 but it wont go there. in fact the subnet 0 doesn't work at all. heeelp

What make/model "modem" is the Belkin connected to on the WAN side?

I have no idea, it's at my work place, but it works just fine with a linksys
