Hi,
I have a 2mbps cable connection but lately I've been having a really weird problem. Browsing the web is really, really slow, specially at 2-3pm. My ISP refuses to do jack because: ping results are fine, download speed is fine (250kb/s), no packet loss, no high latency, everything seems just fine.
Yet it takes a long time to load pages, and its not a software problem (tried on IE, firefox, opera, even formatted my pc).

So, what can I do to debug my connection and find where the problem is?

Thanks in advance

I installed the fasterfox extension on my firefox and it seemed to help a little, but let me clarify my problem:

Even though I can download at 250kb/s it seems like it on every web site it downloads one image at a time, just like dial up, making sites like gamespot.com or cnet.com (very heavy websites) load 100% in up to 30 seconds.

Any clues as to why?
