TREND NET USB ADAPTER problem....need ur help

hello evryone i really need a solution to my problem. I am using a usb wireless adapter trend net and when i start the computer i can connect fine at high speed t but then five minutes later it drops and i could not connect anymore. Any reasons why this is pls help me, i havent had any internet for 3 months now. This are the hardware im using
TrendNet TEW-424UB 54Mbps 802.11g Wireless USB 2.0 Adapter
TrendNet TEW-432BRP 54Mbps 802.11g Wireless Router w/ 4-port Switch

also im from canada and im using rogers DSL. pls help im using windows xp, my problem is that connection dont last more than five minutes , i have no virus or whatsoever pls help in anyway u can....thanks

Rogers runs a cable connection - not DSL, at least it does in Toronto and southern Ontario.
