Not sure if this is the right forum, but I will give it a shot.
I just purchased an older pc(amd k6 500) for my kids to mess with. I just put XP SP2 on it. I am trying to install a wireless card so they can share the net. I have tried two cards now and keep getting the same error. "The name is already in use as either a service name or a service display name." I am currently trying to use a airlink card and the same thing happens. I know this card works just fine too. Plus when I try to unistall the drivers for the card so I can start fresh, the system tells me I can not because the device is needed for boot up. I have never ran into this issue before. It is really starting to irritate me. I appreciate any help.
