Got two PC's one is networked using wireless. Trying to connect the other PC using a crossover cable to gain internet access on it. Is this possible.? Both PC's run WinXP. When trying to share the internet connection via the wireless connection I am told that another divice is using the ip 192.168.0.1. I opened a cmd prompt and use ipconfig /all and no other device is using the IP referenced by windows. The wireless router connected to the cable modem has an IP of 192.168.0.2, set by me. All other PC's on the network were shut down and there is only one wireless router on the network. Any suggestoins?
