Low Network Utilization

Hi All,

I'm connecting two Dell Precision 360 P4 machines with Windows 2003 SP1 and with 1Gbps link using a crossed cable (Direct Connection). When I'm trying to copy a multi-giga from one to another, the maximum network utilization I'm getting it 18% from the Task Manager.

I tried to use the TCP Optimizer but it did not help.

Did anybody faced this issue before ?

If you're going to copy large amounts of files....I always take a hard drive from "source" machine...slave it to the destination machine...copy from D ==> C:\Download or something like that. BAM...done much quicker.
