okay, there are two computers on the same network my wirelesss is connected to the dsl/cable modem and the other(my dads) is connected via the ethernet cord. hes never had a real issue with his computer speeds ever only the time it takes to bring up web pages. so I took it upon my self to search out speed boosting issues and answers and found this site and a couple of booster options one is a patch I used to get 50concurent conections per second(I used this patch on both computers)two I used gpedit.msc and took off the 20% reserved for microsoft bandwith limiter three i also tried a registry addition to get to the packet sizer and add on to it so as to recieve greater number of packets and so on and so forth... Now thats what I think I did to both to mine alone I did some other stuff to try to boost it up a notch im not sure exactly what thou but I need some advise my dads computer cant even d.load 10 pdf documents under 20-25minutes now and he claims it is all my fault. every time he goes to whatch something the streaming takes a butt load of time and yet it seems to never play. I'm at witts end with what it could be so somebody anybody help!!!!
If you offer usefull advise I'llgive up a link to get the megaupload grabber to download megaupload shares like you were a premium member for free.
