Hello all,

I have a computer that was part of the domain. I disjointed the system from the domain and now I want to delete users profile in which were created every time users logged on to the domain using the same system from my C:\Document and Settings folder but the system won't let me to do that. A message pops up saying Access Denied! Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that file is not currently in use. Any idea how can I get rid of all junks like that without re-installing Windows? Thank you all.

Are you using an administrator account? You will probably need to take ownership of the files as an administrator, and then delete them.

Why bother though? Are they really all that big?

Reboot into safe mode (F-8)
Logging in as local Administrator
Right click the "My Computer" icon..select "Properties"
Click the "Advanced" tab
Click the "Settings" button in the "User Profiles" box
Delete unwanted account profiles from there.
