using dialup modem after satellite connection

can i still use my dialup modem to work from home after a satellite connection is installed? i dial in to a computer at work from my home. will this still be possible?

Check w/your admin and see if he can set up the LAN to allow you to connect to it via the satellite connection over a VPN.

If your sat. connection is a two way connection it won't have any effect on it at all you should be able to dial in without problems.
If your sat. uses the modem to connect you may have some minor problems like the loss of the sat. while your connected to the office.
