Cable and voice

Can I use a cable modem for internet and email and a voice modem for phone calls and faxes? Can they run at the same time? What settings need to be changed? What software is recommended?

Yes to internet, fax, email, voice, and phone. The settings depend on the software and which program you choose---there are many.

I use net2phone and dialpad.
