View Full Version : @home email server..."Crap"
@home's email server has been the slowest ever. I have been to tier 1,2 about this issue, they claim that I must have been spoiled from previous fast speeds. I think they are about to convert back to 14kps and screw us all. I live in the great state of Michigan and want to know if any fellow or fellow-ets have had this same issue. Thanks in advance, I just need some artillery for tier "3". BMED
P.S. I have ruled out everything on my end, so consider this @home's error! They would like to blame anybody except themselves.
Yes I know it's frusterating
I too experience horrible problems with @home's mail servers. Many many times they will not connect even, it will ask for my password, this indicates their authentication suff isn't working right. Also many times I am concerned that my outgoing email really isn't outgoing, it seems to get lost and nobody recieves it. I can't have my email keep getting lost, I'm not always sure if I recieving or sending all my email through their servers. It's horrible I know. They credited me $10 this month, but that in no way makes up for their horrible mail servers.
Happens here in Sacramento too. Most of the time I cannot check my e-mail. I have called and spoke to the "highest" level of tech's which supposedly tier 4. They always tell me the same thing. "We have the fastest speeds available, our server is operating within normal parameters, and please call back if everything we just DID NOT do, does not solve your problem"!
