I have a Rogers cable internet connection, and my wireless router is a Network Everywhere NWR04B.
Here's my setup at the moment. In one room, I have a PC, the cable modem, and the wireless router. In the next room is my PC, connected by a 50ft ethernet cable. Downstairs is a laptop.
Now onto the problem. My PC, the one connected by 50ft cable, is the one where the connection is unstable. When the internet goes out on this one, I usually try the windows network repair. Sometimes it works, but otherwise I have to go over to the next room and reboot the router. The connection is fine on the other PC, the one that's with the cable modem and router. But the one in my room loses it's connection on a daily basis. I also get high ping in online games, like 600+ most of the time.
What's the problem here?? The only thing I've done so far is updating the drivers on the router.
