Ok, I know I am not the only one mad about the upstream limits with most cable companies. I have @home in omaha and the limit was upped from 15K to 32K, but that is still not enough. Is it true that the upload modifications only work with lancity modems? I sadly have the toshiba pcx1100. If not, could someone shove me in the right direction on where to find the program/instructions to do so.

You should be very happy they raised it to what they did, as most @home users are limited to 128kbps upstream (although you only usually get 115kbps or so). Alot of people would bust you upside the mouth for saying its not enough. There is no way to change this limit (within reason) and I would be quite happy with what you have. Uncapping is a lost cause b/c as soon as ur ISP found out (if u were successful), and if ur on DOCSIS they would find out the second u uncapped, they will cut off ur service and may persue legal action against u. wee96 is right, since most of @home is capped at 128kbps ur 256kbps is pretty generous of them.
