Kaspersky Anti-virus Personal Help?

I just installed Kaspersky Anti-Virus. I was wondering if there is anything I need to configure? Will it automatically configure itself to detect viruses right out of the box?

Nm I figured it out and haven't found and haven't had any spyware infect my computer since! This program is great and so is Kaspersky Firewall!
