I have just been reading posts about the Telnet client that comes with Windows OS (I have winXP pro) and it's apparent vulnerability. As a total noob, I have had my share of being hacked/trojans, replaceing HD's etc. so now I am naturally curious about security and networking etc. (formerly addicted to PHotoshop/webDesign lol). In anyone's opinion, is this something I should be concerned about and would you recommend I take the steps outlined here: http://www.networksecurityarchive.org/html/Exploits-HackingTools/2005-06/msg00064.html ? Also, should I be OK too, (as a clueless noob) if I follow their advice comletely, or could I wreck windows? would really appreciate your input, thanks.:)
