Hello all,

Yas im sure its a silly question but if you dont ask you'll never know..

Ive searched but can seem to find any relevant info.

I Have Speedtouch 330 usb which connects at 3.1mbps, ADSL

My connection speed is supposed to be 8meg but my ISP say that due to the length of the line the best I will get is around 3.5

My question is : if I but a router with speedboost technology, can I expect to see an increase?

Thanks in advance..

No, speedboost, MIMO, etc...those are all the speeds of your LAN side....the WAN side..you're gonna get what the ISP gives you...regardless. If distance is holding you back..that's what you get.

Thanks very much Yeoldestonecat. At least now I know.

The shoreline sounds idyllic BTW.
