having big problems with zone alarm..root certificate

i am trying to get on my msn and it wont let me,my friend says it's something to do with zone alarm..i have tried uninstalling it and reinstalling but all i am getting is a message saying i am missing a root certificate..can anyone please help...really appreciate it..thanx gavin...........
