What fix did you try? This is about the earlier post that I gave you a link for?
IRQ conflict(most likely)
Bad memory
or weak or unstable PSU
Start yanking cards

This could be numerous things, to start please post a HijackThis log so we can see what is running on your pc. Also please list your pc components.
:)
snip........i was messing with usb ports yeaterday thats when the problem started
do you mean the actual wires on the mobo or in the bios or something ?
have you tried unplugging all USB devices and see if it works ?

I thought that he had just posted a hijack this list.
Rivas, pull all the cards(except video of course) and usb stuff out and see if it still happens.
i reinstalled
its working now,but if it will stop i will post a log from hijack this and all the components.Thank you for trying to help,i appreciate it :thumb:
PS: I still have one problem anyway,my pc started hybernating (in power management everything is turned off.)Any suggestions ?
There is an option in the power options properties window
Look for the hibernate tab, uncheck the box.. should fix that up.
also for your old problem.. could of been a service hanging up. sometimes there are funky services that windows starts runniong that get curropt and you need to go into recovery console off the XP Cd and chkdsk /r to fix the bad files associated to the service.
lemme know if that was unchecked already for the hibernation.
