How to delete this?

hi,
After I deleted the program name DVDRegionFree because I don't want to use it anymore and after that everytime I open any programs that relate to DVD...windows gives me this message " Windows can not find C:\PROGRA~1\DVDREG~1\DVDRegionFree.exe" Would somebody please help me how to get rid off that message? One thing I learned that is never get any sw for free. Thanks:confused:

First off u shouldn't just 'delete' a program. Try to uninstall it.

Try this... go to: Start > Run > type in 'msconfig' > click on 'startup' tab > uncheck 'dvdregionfree.exe' or something that relates to it > click okay on restart.

It should disapear.

Thanks. I did as you guys advised me. after that I selected one of my DVD program and open it...it still ask me as before..windows can not find..... please help what are the next steps that I should do. Thank again:confused:

You are getting that message because dvdregionfree associated itself as the default application for dvds. Reinstall the program and use it's settings and preferences to DISassociate it with dvd files, then uninstall it via add-remove pgms.
