Sorry for such a dumb question... What is the name of a piece of software that inspects you computer and tells you what cpu, hdd, ram, vid card etc that you're running? I'm having a brain cramp here.

if you can find a copy of aida it doesn't need to be installed, i keep a copy on a thumbdrive so if i need it.
