I just downloaded Nero OEM suite, that came with my dvd burner. I Started to burn a dvd and it got nearly to the end and then it said this I just added the end part of the error report. I have tried to download nero 7 as someone told me tht would work but i downloaded the trial version and basically the same thing happened. Could anyone please help?

What are you trying to burn?

if you're trying to copy a DVD you'll need an app to remove the encryption

No its not a dvd movie, it is a collection of small music videos that i have downloaded.

Did you uninstall the first nero version before trying 7?

there's a nero clean tool that should be run before installing another version too

try running the clean tools, restart and then try installing 7 again. There's a bug w/ xp sp2 relating to burning, I'd have to dig for the MS KB article on it. I believe nero 7 will work despite that issue. what was the nero version that came w/ your burner?

possible there's copyright on those vids...lemme see how you answer these questions first before I direct you to the encryption removal app. you are allowed by law to make one copy of your purchased DVD's...so this encryption thing is legal (I believe).

make sure the write speed is set correctly for the blank...sometimes it helps to not choose "maximum".
