Dlink Gaming Routers

What is the general consensus about the D-Link DGL-4100 and the D-Link DGL-4300 gaming routers? Are they really all they are cracked up to be?

They seem to lots of "awards" from various review sources. What are your thoughts?

It is probably my stupidity but I am unable to get the D-Link DGL-4100 router working properly. I planned to use it as a replacement for my Linksys BEFSR81router (which by the way works wonderfully) since I wanted the gigabit speed on my internal network.

Issue I have trying to install the router is once connected my response time went to dial-up speed. There is probably a set of options I need to set in the configurations but there are no instructions on what to use so I'm back with the Linksys until I can get help.

They're not what they are cracked up to be, Dlink can't get their routers to function with the proper security (WPA/WPA2), don't waste your money. I just got rid of my Dlink DI-624 because I was sick of their firmware issues, it would start randomly rebooting on me every 2 minutes for no reason.
