Win me VS Win 2k Cable

Just wonder how much slower is Win ME compared to Win 2k for cable in general. Meaning, download, upload, pings, etc...

I am using win 2k now and love it, but want to get netter proformance for games with my Radeon and I am very temped to use Win me again.

not a place asking for OS's, not tolerated here....

WinME has about the same TCP/IP that Win2k has so it's Internet speed should be about the same

For gaming though Win98 is much better and less bloated, but it's TCP/IP isn't as good as WinME or Win2k

so you will have to give up something, either the great TCP/IP or the great compatibility and speed of gaming...

I found ME's stack dropped my speeds by a full 1mbps, while win2k boasted me.

WinME is garbage, use win98 thats the most stable for gaming i find
