Charter Pipeline SUCKS in Smyrna, GA

We got "upgraded" to an RCA Digital Cable Modem about a month ago, and our cable modem service has gone to hell. Things were OK for the past few months with our COM21, but we've been without service now for 8 days and when I call the Charter (actually HSA) technical support they have NO ETA for when service will be restored.

That is absolutely ridiculous. Not only am I going to demand a credit to my bill, I'm going to find a new ISP. Even 56k is infinitely faster than 0k.

Stay away from Charter Pipeline, especially if you live in Smyrna, GA!!!

Don't fool with Charter Pipeline period!!
I said it a million times and I'll say it again, it sucks to supreme heaven and anybody who subscribes to it's service has to be quite desperate. You DO get better service with a 56k dialup than charter gives you! :mad:

it all depends on area. I have charter, it aint the greatest, but being th only broadband service for this cheap i cant do much, and it is 10X better then 56k.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I have no doubt that for some people Charter performs better than thier original 56k modem but for a lot of others, they just as well stick with their 56k connection. Id does depend on area but you have to understand another factor and that is "they're capping crazy" and yes, they will cap ya in no time at all!! They also have a bad habit of lying and being deceitful to thier customers!! I've experineced it more than a dozen times. Finally dropped them and my DSL has been far superior than their crap! :eek:
