Knocking out mnosteele52's list of stuff. Spy Sweeper doesn't seem to have a 30 day trial anymore. Is it just a 30 day money back guarantee now? Found a bunch of crap but won't let me remove it without subscribing. is that their new policy?

Also, I will have a hijack this log when I'm done (this computer is a disaster). I wanna finish knocking out the list of things to do.

They are also reluctant about dropping norton since they paid $50 for it :rolleyes:

Should I get the kapersky free personal secuirity suite? And if so, should I install it on the computer before or after I get rid of all the norton crap?

Gonna stick with norton because of whatever. They want to stay with MSN and IE explorer. They use ms messanger. Switched them to Itunes.

This isn't a hard core computer used by hard core gamers or anything.
