Ughh, why? Why do we have to have sponsored and google link midway through the thread? Can we just lump them at the top and leave them there, rather than having them in the centre?

I did. :D
But what you posted is acceptable. :thumb:
It's only in longer threads (after the 10th post, the 30th, etc. at 20 post intervals), and it is in place of another banner that was on the bottom of every page...
Just testing performance for a few days at this stage, I'm not sure if it those ads will remain at all.
Shouldn't be too annoying since colors are matching the themes... Is it ?

It's alot less annoying than those "Ad Bot" posts that many forums have. ;)
What are these ads you speak of ? :wth:

Becoming a premium member is a quick and easy fix for this. :thumb:

Not all of us can afford to spend money for a membership to a discussion forum. :p
And philip, I don't speak for everyone certainly, but for me personally - I'm not fond of the advertisements - even with them taken away (right now they're not showing), the gap is a little annoying between the posts. It's just advertising in general that's annoying. You can't escape it - in real life, on TV, in work, at school and even on the internet.
Guys, wait for the day when they have giant bill-boards in space. It would be funny if it wasn't so disgustingly sick.

I don't mind them, I know I eat my fair share of bandwidth around here so they need to make money somehow. :D

I saw it at work today. And I think it breaks up some of the ****ty responses of late in serious threads.

While I understand that advertisements are everywhere and not everyone can afford to pay for premium membership, it is kinda unfair to complain about a form of generating income on a website that helps to pay its bills. News sites, Blogs and even the entertainment/joke sites all have 1 minute movies you gotta pretty much watch before u even get to the thing you wanna watch. Running a website costs $ and if you want the site to remain up to par it requires even more $.

I realize that, but also if the ads get to intrusive, people don't come back. Keeping readers is important as well for websites.
