HELP! DSLsoftwareproblem

namely,thati caughta virusand hadto reinstall windowson my laptop...sofar so good. butn ow i cant findmy SBCyahoo softwaredisk,to reinstall my SBC softwareso i cant getonline.right now imonmyold desktop (spacebar dying,sorryab outthat).i dont haveany other way to connect to the net. i tried calling them but theyre closed today. i dont want to be stuckon this dekstop for a week until they can send me a new disk..i want to get back on mylappy.is there anythingi can do?

i tried using the windows"connect to internet" thing,choseDSL,for provideri put SBC, put my username and passwordandhit connect, but it keepstelling me that it doesnt recognize my username or password.


does anyone have anyideas on howi canget onto the netl ong enoughtodownload the SBC softwareto mylaptop? before you ask,mydsktop doesnt havea cd burner,soi cant burn the software to a disk.

Do yourself a favor...get a home broadband router....have it do your PPPoE login for you, uninstall all the bloated SBC software. Plus..your computer is hidden behind a hardware firewall...nice 'n protected.
