Good day folks,

I'm realy at a lost as to why I can't access some websites (speedguide.com, nvidia.com, mozzilla.org just to name a few) when I set my dsl modem/router to connect automatically to my ISP (PLDT MyDSL) when I turn on the modem/router. The settings of the modem/router are as follows:

WAN Information:
Mode: Routing
Encapsulation: PPPoE
Multiplexing: LLC
VPI/VCI: 0/100

Service Name: test
User Name: xxxxxxx
Password: ********
IP Address: Obtain an IP Address Automatically
Network Address Translation: SUA Only
Connection: Nailed-Up Connection

LAN Information:
IP Address: 192.168.1.1
IP Mask: 255.255.255.0
DHCP: ON
Client IP Pool Starting Address: 192.168.1.33
Size of Client IP Pool: 32

Well now for the confusing part of my problem. When I re-configure the modem/router to act as "Bridge", which means I have to create a windows PPPoE dialer, I can freely access all the sites that I can't view, (speedguide.com, nvidia.com and others). The settings are as follows:

WAN Information:
Mode: Bridge
Encapsulation: RFC 1483
Multiplexing: LLC
VPI/VCI: 0/100
LAN Information:
IP Address: 192.168.1.1
IP Mask: 255.255.255.0
DHCP: OFF

My system is using Windows XP. I just re-formated my system to make sure that it is adware/spyware/trojan/virus free. I also tried borrowing a friends router(know to work) but the same problem persist.

Anyone knows why?
