Hey all :)
am new here so excuse my lil n00b-ness ;)
lately (last 3wks) i'v had this disconnecting issue..seems my adsl gets disconnected every various times (can be 3hrs after i reconnect or 24hrs or even 2days..)
I find it rather weird cause before it didnt happen so offen..used to be online for days and weeks without any problem
I'v already checked with my ISP and my ADSL providor and both don't know whats the problem and reckons its in my pc
that cant be true cause i'v already checked here everything possible
which means dialer options \ phone line itself \ modem \ weird ad-awares\potencial virus's or utils that might cause it
also checked my Network adapter and modem and both seems 100% operational
i'm on 260kb/s down 13kb/s up ADSL with b-focus router 312+ and with WinXP Pro OS (it's not configged as router cause i only have 1 pc at home so don't need any kind of network or static ip (my ip atm is dynamic [changes every connection]
i could really use some tips\help please :)
P.S : guy i know said there's an option in WinXP Pro called "Keep connection alive" to prevent dissconnections from internet...thought its in my Network Adapter in Device Manager but its not....
